NAHN 2022 Annual Conference

Annual Meeting Thank You

Thank You for Attending the NAHN 2022 Annual Conference

The 47th NAHN Annual Conference, held July 12-15 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Miami, was a huge success, thanks to the nationwide participation of nurses, students, speakers, presenters, panelists, and corporate partners who joined us in Miami. Thank you!

Keynote sessions, breakout sessions, and research presentations focused on the theme Innovations in Care: Addressing Disparities to Create Equitable Outcomes, Navegando La "Nueva Normalidad," which combines several key aspects of the current experience in Latino healthcare, including understanding the effects and values of advances in technology; addressing inequities in healthcare and disparities in patient outcomes; and self-care for nurses in stressful and traumatic environments (mind, body and spirit).

Thank you to our keynote speakers:

  • Mildred Espinoza, CEO of Empowering Business Latin America (EBLA Digital)
  • Melody Gonzalez, Executive Director, White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics
  • Angela Patterson, DNP, FNP-C, NEA-BC, FAANP, Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer for CVS MinuteClinic and Vice President of CVS Health
  • Shannon N. Zenk, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN, Director of the National Institute of Nursing Research

The NAHN Annual Conference celebrates the cultural achievements and professional expertise of our membership, and challenges attendees to expand our skillset and knowledge base. Each year the event attracts nurses, physicians, nurse educators, researchers, clinicians, case managers, healthcare innovators, and students from across the country. We are proud to offer the only nursing association meeting dedicated to exploring healthcare issues affecting the Hispanic population and proposing potential solutions.
